Mario DeMelo I-Mite Tournament

The first tournament was held in 2006 as a way to use ice left at the end of the season.  The tournament was such a success that it has become an annual event for Instructional Mite teams in our area. Because these young boys and girls are just learning to play the sport of hockey, the emphasis is on having fun! For most, this will be the first tournament they participate in. All players win or lose, are awarded trophies.

This year's tournament will be held from March 18th to March 20th at the Janas Rink in Lowell. Each team plays three games with the top two teams playing for the championship with all players invited to participate in the Skills Competition on Sunday afternoon.
